The Inbox file contains only the two most messages that I have just
downloaded. I am back to 'square one' with a lost message file. I
understand that recovery of a deleted file under Linux is problematic.
Still recovery of pieces would be okay somewhat. :-/

Apparently Netscape uses Inbox as the name of the email file and
does not use the mbox standard. I saved off the Sent and Sent.msf files
into a backup directory. What will translate them into ASCII files that
are easier to manipulate?
Netscape 7.2 does not appear to have good export capabilities. What
email programs are safer to use? I think my Kmail is working but used
Netscape because it was more familiar. My KDE 3.3.2 is using KMail
1.7.2 under sarge. More specifically how would I export Netscape 7.2
information to Kmail?
