What does/doesn't happen?
When I open "Configure KWeather", I enter the city in, which, in the configure window, appears to be fine. However, the panel applet displays a question mark icon, and the Weather Report that is given states: "Station reports that it needs maintenance. Please try a different one." Attempting to update gives the error, "the requested station does not exist."
Where is the config file that you're speaking of? I did find /usr/share/apps/kweatherservice/stations.dat, but the ICAO used for Toronto, Ontario, appears to be correct (that being CYYZ). The rest of it I was unable to verify, though. I also tried changing the /home/mark/.kde/share/config/weather_panelappletrc file, which initially read:
[General Options] log_file_name= logging=false report_location=0000 reportview_size=450,325 smallview_mode=3I changed the location line: "report_location=CYYZ" (I also tried lower case). This too failed.
So, I'm stumped. Please lemme know what you did to fix kweather on your machine.
Thanks, Mark
