Do you _have_ free space on your disk?
Did you resize (downsize) your pre-installed windows-partition?

If your installer doesn't recognize your HD you could try the
daily-builds netinstall-cd-images from
http://www.us.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/
which did for my z60m.
