This is a known error type for Debian. If 2 packages contain the same file (e.g. /usr/bin/pear), then this is normally illegal. In this case one package is replacing another because it is an upgrade, so the error is not as severe a problem, just a minor inconveince, but a bug no less. You can use 'dpkg -i --force-overwrite PKG.deb' to fix this error. If the problem is not resolved, you may need to do 'apt-get -f install' to get it resolved, but it should finish the installation.
