I think we might have a misunderstanding here:

Stable = Sarge (at the moment)
Testing = Etch (at the moment
Unstable = Sid (forever)
Experimental = Well, do you feel lucky, punk?

For Unstable/Sid the normal repository is enough to get all the nvidia
packages, but you need "non-free" (and "contrib" for one configuration
utility). This is what I have: 

deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/ unstable main non-free contrib
deb-src http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/ unstable main non-free contrib

(It should of course also work with the mirrors in other countries.)

Run "X -version" from a terminal or a tty to be sure.
