i can access our printers (shared via cups) without any problems. i just installed cupsys to chroot and copied the /etc/hosts file to chroot /etc/. then, it seems to work ok.What is the best way to print from a chroot? I have a 32bit chroot setup for oo.or, you may be able to solve the problem the other way round. - disable host cupsys and start chroot cupsys. print from chroot. this I've proved to be working fine.- use chroot wrapper for host lp/lpr, to use chroot printing. this is what I've just about to try. - the beauty of this solution is that you don't need to maintain two version of printing system (and setting up a print server).
