the command is not correct, it should have been

:~$ dvdbackup -M -i /dev/dvd -o /home/fred/dvdback/

but after it finished, the content of the dir is a bit strange.
:~$ ls -l dvdback/
total 4
-rw-r--r-- 1 fred fred    0 2006-10-09 05:35 dvddata.iso
drwxr-xr-x 3 fred fred 4096 2006-10-09 05:36 WOTM_DISC1

isn't the iso image with a size zero wrong?
