That is if the kernel is at (more than slight) risk of infection.

If you sit behind a firewalling router, don't run an httpd, an ftpd,
etc, how much at risk are you?

Is "common sense" really valid?
For example, it is "common sense" to white-power racists that
whites are superior to blacks, and that those with brown skins
are mud people.
However, that "common sense" is obviously wrong.
