Only the first word of a string of text would be displayed - the rest was blank. I tracked the problem down to the Xorg nv driver. If I used the Noaccel option, the font display was fine (but far too slow). The vesa driver was also ok, but I am now using the binary driver from nvidia, which does not exhibit the problem either.
actually I am using the nvidia binary driver (already last release)... so the problem shouldn't be there should it? here's an example of the problem http://rap.dsi.unifi.it/~bettini/terminal.pngthe blank part actually should contain text that disappeared after scrolling and comes up again when scrolling back...
is it the same behavior? thanks Lorenzo -- +-----------------------------------------------------+ | Lorenzo Bettini ICQ# lbetto, 16080134 | | PhD in Computer Science | | Dip.
