I've been testing having my GPG keyring on an encfs mount. The only
problem I've found so far is locking:
gpg: lock not made: link() failed: Operation not permitted
gpg: can't lock `/home/magnusth/ms_home/secret/gnupg/pubring.gpg'
gpg: lock not made: link() failed: Operation not permitted
gpg: can't lock `/home/magnusth/ms_home/secret/gnupg/secring.gpg'
gpg: update failed: general error
I know I can pass '--lock-never' to GPG to work around it, but I'd be
much happier if locking worked.
% mount|grep encfs
encfs on /home/magnusth/ms_home type fuse (rw,nosuid,nodev,default_permissions,user=magnusth)
Is this a bug that I should report, or am I doing something stupid here?
/M
