I have this bug in gqview, bittornado-gui (which uses python-wxgtk2.6), 
avidemux & dcgui, which are all the GTK2 applications I use.

Maybe it is related to X.org. My video card is ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 M10, 
and I am using the "radeon" driver.
