Good to know about this list, but hebrew is not the main problem at the moment.
I first need to find a good calendar program that can support
iCalendar/vCalendar import export (I found out emacs can do what I want partly,
although I don't like it's interface).

A gtk2 program will also solve the hebrew issue at the same time since rtl
support is included.

It does seem at the moment though that I need to write a calendar interface
anyway for another program I need to write so I may just write a proper
calendar program of my own.
