Marc,
It works for me on sarge. Be sure to apt-get update to resolve your
"openoffice.org-base (> 2.0.1) but 2.0.0-4 to be installed" problem.
I use the j2re1.4 Blackdown java from:
deb ftp://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/blackdown/debian/ sarge non-free
The OOo2 help package from unstable will install without problems with
dpkg -i, or if you're careful, with apt pinning.
