Problem with PowerEdge SC420 NIC card

  Hello,

I encounter a problem with installing Debian stable (Sarge) or testing (Etch) to a Dell PowerEdge SC420 server.

The embedded NIC card is found ( ifconfig show it as eth0 with a MAC adress and a link UP ) but no packet is sent or received.
So I can't install the system.

Any idea or similar experience ?

Thanks for your help.

  Best regards,
    Florent
