True.  However, I always tend to recommend shorewall since it is
probably one of the most well documented pieces of OSS software.  In
addition to that, the lead developer, Tom Eastep, is always on IRC and
responds to nearly every issue on the mailing list before anyone else
has a chance :-)

I'm not saying that other approaches are not valid, just that shorewall
does the job extremely well.
