courier mysql auth problem
Hi guys,
I'm setting up a postfix/mysql/courier box for multiple domains
following these guides:
http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_debian_sarge
http://postfixwiki.org/index.php?title=Virtual_Users_and_Domains_with_Courier-IMAP_and_MySQL#SASL2_Install
I've set up a box like this before, also with Debian Sarge, and it's
working absolutely lovely. Comparing the config files, they're almost
identical, the only differences being domain names and passwords.
For some reason I cannot log into courier. The mail log simply shows:
May 6 13:56:28 postbox courierpop3login: Connection,
ip=[::ffff:10.0.0.252]
May 6 13:56:38 postbox courierpop3login: LOGIN: DEBUG:
ip=[::ffff:10.0.0.252], command=USER
May 6 13:56:41 postbox courierpop3login: LOGIN: DEBUG:
ip=[::ffff:10.0.0.252], command=PASS
May 6 13:56:41 postbox courierpop3login: LOGIN: DEBUG:
ip=[::ffff:10.0.0.252], username=user@domain.tld
May 6 13:56:41 postbox courierpop3login: authdaemon: starting client
module
May 6 13:56:41 postbox courierpop3login: authdaemon: REJECT
May 6 13:56:46 postbox courierpop3login: LOGIN FAILED,
ip=[::ffff:10.0.0.252]
Postfix is accepting mail for the users, so I don't think it's a mysql
problem. On the other box I log in with user@domain.tld, but I've tried
both that and just "user" here, same effect.

Thanks
