Re: Re: messed up my X-windows in Etch



Thanks for your help. In response to your questions:

I'm using xdm

/etc/init.d/xdm restart

didn't do anything - I entered it into a terminal after starting x, and another prompt appeared. No error messages or anything else. I tried again after closing X, both as me and as root, same result.

My xorg.conf file is pasted below.

lspci - command not found
xpdyinfo - results pasted below
[all of these run from a window after starting X]
