No, Republicans are not the least bit socialist.  They're anti-public
healthcare, anti-public education, and think laissez-faire economics
benefits everyone instead of just the richest 3% that control 80% of
the country's wealth.  Republicans are pretty much the Socialist
antithesis in the US.


Yes, I'd agree that you can't get much more accurate than that.

Republicans support Social Security, the number one biggest
Socialist Project and biggest Ponzi Scheme on the face of the
planet. Anyone who supports Social Security cannot say he is
not some kind of Socialist. Exactly what kind may certainly
be debatable. And the current crop of Republicans have grown
the Department of Education to more than double what it was
before the current administration took office.

But the topic is drifting ever farther away from anything
remotely connected to Debian, isn't it?
