udev doesn't creat /dev/audio

hi,
I installed the 2.6.8 kernel ( I hadn't this problem
wiyth 2.4 ), and also the alsa-package for my  sound
card  hda-intel, There is no sound, because neither
/dev/audio, nor /dev/dsp  ? what is the requirements
for udev to create an audio device ?

how to tell the udev to creat the device ??
