Thanks for the response. I use your above point only when I want to
edit kernel options for grub and do update-grub. However it did n't
work. Hence I installed bootsplash thanks to its ml and Jon Ferguson.
I could get bootsplash. But progress bar is missing as sysv scripts
deb is giving errors. If anyone has working rc and rcS for bootsplash
in sid kindly send me.
