Hopefully a Simple internet problem

Hi all,

As requested some more details on my problem.
I have a Pentium II 400 MHZ (with Debian installed on it) and it connects to the internet via another computer which runs Microsoft Windows XP. So I would like to share my internet connection in my network as this is commonly done in a Windows network environment. So all the computers in the network here use the shared internet acces protocol from Microsoft. The trouble is that my Debian system can't access the internet in any way. My question is: How can I get my Debian system through the internet sharing (from Windows) on the internet. Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance

PA
