Deinen Anforderungen klar!

B.

So that others may gain something useful out of this,
the question is
------------------------------
"What must one do in order to split up an image (forseeably > 2GB)
into smaller pieces so that I can put them back together with dd?
Or are there even some other proposed solutions?"
------------------------------

And the answer is

------------------------------
"In Knoppix there is a tool ready to go to create and restore images
of partitions.
Just start partimage with root priviledges in a terminal. It does
everything you need."
------------------------------

I admit this last sentence is a rather loose translation. The German
has the idea that "Everything will become clear", or "You'll know
what to do", as well as "All your demands will be met", and "It
comes with all your needs clearly understandable" or sth like that.
,,Klarkommen'' has the idea of reaching an agreement or understanding.

I can explain it for you, but I can't understand it for you.
I speak only for myself, and I am unanimous in that!
