fglrx in Debian

Hi all,

since the ati driver is in sid, I try to compile/install that the Debian way. But I cannot install it since it complains about old version of xorg, which is not true. Take a look:

/usr/src#ls fglrx-kernel-2.6.15_8.20.8-1.1+custom.3.0_i386.deb

fglrx-kernel-2.6.15_8.20.8-1.1+custom.3.0_i386.deb

/usr/src#dpkg -i fglrx-kernel-2.6.15_8.20.8-1.1+custom.3.0_i386.deb

You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  fglrx-driver: Depends: xserver-xorg (< 6.8.99)
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  fglrx-driver: Depends: xserver-xorg (< 6.8.99)
E: Broken packages

/usr/src#dpkg -l | grep xserver-xorg

ii xserver-xorg 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 the X.Org X server

Do you have any idea how to overcome this?

	Thanks in advance,
	Ivan
