That seems to me a very good idea. But I would also in the meantime
adjust the footer message just slightly, like this:
DO NOT UNSUBSCRIBE HERE. Email to debian-user-REQUEST@lists.debian.org
with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@lists.debian.org
Which seems to me more memorable/noticeable. And similarly on the
welcome email, a first sentence in caps, " When you want to UNSUBSCRIBE,
DO NOT..."
Still, even that would probably have little effect. The script is a
better idea.
