Re: How to list all files that are going to be installed when doing "apt-get upgrade"?



A bit late but I still wanted to thank you for your response Paul. I did not have time to reply earlier.
 
I am quite happy with the command we ended with last time. To find the differences of the output from this command and from the output from "aide -C" I redirect the output from these commands to two files and compare those files.

It seems that you do not have aide installed.
What do you get in response to
which aide
? If nothing but a new command prompt, do
apt-get install aide

But I don't know aide, and can't say what the output of
aide -C looks like.
