Dear all, I can't seem to get an answer from the squid guys, so please excuse if I ask here. Squid's refresh_pattern configuration option [0] has a percent option to control freshness. The docs say that an object is "FRESH is lm-fac tor < percent, else STALE". In this equation, what is lm-factor? last modified? then how can that be compared to percent, which is also a function of age? 0. http://squid.visolve.com/squid/squid24s1/tuning.htm#refresh_pattern Or, differently: what is the difference between the two settings "60 20% 1440" and "60 80% 1440"?
