Install build-essential, kernel-package and fakeroot. Get the
linux-source.deb from unstable, install it, extract the source and use
make-pkpg/kernel-package to build your own kernel. You can use the
configuration of your current kernel to start with. It is also possible
to use apt-pinning and add stable and unstable sources to
your /etc/apt/sources.list. You can tell apt to use stable as the
default distribution but get the linux-source packages from unstable.
