Are you running a laptop or a desktop. Sorry, lost your original
message. I read a post (darned if I can remember where) which mentioned
something about not being able to change the console font unless the
CONFIG_FONT_8x8=y kernel option was set to n. Then he/she could change
the console font. YMMV. I have not tested this as I have no HD space
left to compile a kernel, nor enough RAM.
Is your framebuffer supported? Mine doesn't appear to be (cyrus GD7548).
All the screen is not being used, and any vga=xxxxx does not have any
effect.
I have to use vesa driver in X, cyrus driver freezes screen when wmaker
starts up.
