Linux T-bird can *not* import from Outlook/Outlook Express.

Windows T-bird can because of MAPI.  It uses those calls to extract
the emails and put then in mbox format.

Then you just copy them to your Linux box.  (Or, if you are over-
writing Windows w/ Linux, burn the T-bird mail files to CD-R.)
