(i.e. move the mouse to the edge of a workspace and have it scroll to another one) If that's the case, I don't THINK that Ion supports mouse scrolling between workspaces. Just as a wild guess you may want to try the -xinerama option, but I have no idea if it will actually do anything for you. Hopefully at least the clarification will help you get some better answers.
