Firefox Opens Only As Root.

This is a little odd. My Firefox (which had been working perfectly) now only opens as root.

Trying to open it in a console as a normal user provokes the Mozilla Bug Report thingy in to action and gives this mysterious message:

$ ./firefox
./run-mozilla.sh: line 131:  6335 Segmentation fault      "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

I'd love to have my Firefox back: any help is still help.
