Firefox crashes [was Re: Desktop Crashes]

My firefox crashes are not random. They happen consistently at the same
places when I do the same things.

e.g.
I can visit the ebay home page but as soon as I do a search it crashes
In my webmail when I try to upload an attachment with the upload of a
POST form it crashes
Not always, but often during a download of some kind it crashes

Also, this behaviour happens with both Mozilla and Mozilla-firefox
packages.
