Try taking the reference to the keyboard out of the ServerLayout section
in your XFree86 and see if that helps?  If not, try and remove the
InputDevice section for the keyboard.

I understand that keyboardless xwindows is not a rare thing (think
kiosks with touchscreens) so I would imagine it's an easy thing to
accomplish.
