Weird Sendmail problem

I've got a weird problem with sendmail,

I can send and receive emails fine normally to/from external sources, I can tenet localhost at 127.0.0.1 etc and send email internally and externally. But for some messed up reason i get connection refused in the logfile if logcheck tries to send email, or i run mail <username@domain.com>.

Oct 17 13:02:10 sati sendmail[19426]: j9HC29xU019426: from=logcheck, size=160340, class=0, nrcpts=1, msgid=<200510171202.j9HC29xU019426@sati.pancentric.net>, relay=logcheck@localhost Oct 17 13:02:10 sati sendmail[19426]: j9HC29xU019426: to=root, ctladdr=logcheck (107/107), delay=00:00:01, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=relay, pri=190340, relay=[127.0.0.1] [127.0.0.1], dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection refused by [127.0.0.1]

All emails like this just stay in "/var/spool/mqueue-client" If i move them into /var/spool/mqueue they send out straight away. I'm at a complete loss. This is not my first sendmail server, and I thought i knew sendmail quite well in till this happened.

I've not attached my access, local-host-names or sendmail.mc if anyone can help and would like to see them please let me know.

Many thanks.

Gabe,
