Kernel 2.6 with Promise Fasttrak 100 TX2

Under Kernel 2.4 the disks are addressed by /dev/ataraid/d0 for boot
and /dev/ataraid/d0p1 for /. When compiling a kernel 2.6 I am not able
to boot it:

Kernel panic...

Which modules do I need and are the disks still addressed
using /dev/ataraid/d0?
