I just installed Sarge on a desktop with a celeron 633. It is installed with the 2.4.x kernel. I run KDE. I have no sound. I am considering moving to a 2.6 kernel and using ALSA. Any recommendations? Should I stick with the current kernel and try to get the sound working? Or move to ALSA, then get the sound working (assuming that sound is still an issue after an update)? Thanks for any help....
