I won't venture a guess on how mondorestore will work, but there isgreat info available for Debian on Poweredge servers located here:(http://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo). Debian Sarge does installfine on 1850s, but there are a couple gotchas, especially if you wantraid.
