When Apache and Proftp are installed, startup scripts are inserted in /etc/init.d. Mgetty can be started with a line in /etc/inittab. Neither such arrangement is made when the TightVNC server is installed. Can anyone tell me why? Is a command to start the vncserver in initab sensible?
