Well, Knoppix ALSO has its own mailing list, but there are Debian packages
for your printer, namely hpijs, hplip, hplip-base, hplip-data, and
hplip-ppds.

If you were actually using Debian you could have found that out by going to
packages.debian.org and searching for "hp".
