I want to do the same - set something up for home / small biz use. Outlook
must be front-end because users are in love with it. I want to get rid of
exchange.
What is the difference between open-xchange and the Novell/Suse OpenExchange
product?

I think that open-xchange is Suse Openexchange given out. When Novel took
over Suse I think that Novel wanted to still use its GroupWise technology
and didn't have a need for Openexchange. I don't think that you can still
buy OpenExchange from Suse. I could be wrong.
