Re: Installing Newest Kernel



1. Downoad kernel source
2. unpack it
3. congigure it:   make menuconfig
4. install it as root:     make install
5. install modules 
6. setup boot loader (Grub or Lilo), but this i think is done during
make install, so just check it.

It's not a dificult task. During configuration, there is explanation for
each option. I succesed after ~7th compilation :)
