changing my path variable for KDE and ssh sessions

Hey there,

I want to add ~/bin to my path.  I have changed the setting in .bashrc in my 
home folder, but I want it to be in my path when I ssh into my box, or that 
programs run withing KDE can see that path also.

Any ideas?
