Huh? How is ifplugd broken? I cannot find any outstanding bugs above
priority "normal" and it is fine for me here (sid, but it's currently
the same version as is sarge).
If I were you I would double check that ifplugd starts up correctly at
boot time and then experiment with running it from the command line
after boot. If all else fails, please report a bug! Sarge is not yet out
of the door and I think ifplugd is very important for a lot of users.
In the meantime, you can abort dhclient at boot time by pressing Ctrl-c,
in case you didn't know. Of course that's still a pain.
