backup without disk file (pipe to growisofs)

	Hello!!


	I need to make a backup to dvd where I have little disk space. 
Instead create file.tar and give it to growisofs, Id like to pipe it. 
May I to make something like below?

	find ... | cpio -o | growisofs -M -R -J /dev/dvd=/dev/fd/0

	If not, some hint for reach it? I though to use mkisofs between cpio 
and growisofs, or to use named pipes, but I dont know.
