btdownloadgui redraw problem

Hello,

I have noticed that most of the times (i.e. more than 90%) when I start
a bittorrent download, the btdownloadgui window's text does not redraw.
It stays put, e.g. the Estimated Time Left shows "Starting Up...." and
nothing else(if running without problem, it contantly updates the time).
If I minimize the window, all the information which is updated viz.
estimated time left, upload/download speed, etc are lost. Not even the
old values are left.

This problem is solved by trying to start btdownloadgui again and again
till the redrawing is normal(i.e. when you are lucky!). I wanted to know
if others have experienced this problem before spamming the Debian BTS?
Is it a know problem? I haven't been able to see any changelog as
packages.debian.org gives me a 404 for anything I try!
