Re: md0 AND md2 RAID not detected anymore
uh, in fact i don't know how it was created. i created the complete
setup
(partitions, raid arrays and lvm2 volumes) with the debian installer and
the machine was running perfectly for about 3 month now. the partitions
are all linux raid autodetect.
what do you think of this bug report (the udev bug - udev is installed
on
my system)?
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=294404
the difference is that my system is bootable, so i'm not sure if this
bug
affects me. btw i never heard of udev or devfs before ;)
is there a way to verify if the the persistent superblock option has
been
set?
regards,
oliver
Did you create the arrays with the persistant superblock option? I
found
that the debian installer doesn't. Also, do an fdisk -l on each drive.
Make
sure the raid partitions are type 0xfd. You could just try backing up
and
re-creating the arrays.
