Hi!

Just for the record, I'd like to note my experiences with X.org 6.8.2

I needed to patch it to make by mylti-seat Linux work. No big deal.

After the compile (2.5 hours) and install and change of the config file:

1. Yes you get shadowed, fuzzy or hard windows.
2. Yes you get translucent windows.

But it is excuciatingly slow (for my 850MHz Athlon) when you do that.
And every so often the server dies and gdm restarts.

And there is no evdev protocol for the mouse.

For the time beig XFree86 with Sarge is better I think.
