I know very little about OSX and nothing at all about this printer,
but ...  It's my understanding that behind the pretty user interface,
the printer software for OSX is `just' CUPS.

So if you have a driver for this printer for OSX, that ought to mean
that you have a driver for the printer that works with CUPS. And if
you have a Debian box on which CUPS is installed, then the driver, it
seems to me, ought to work on the Debian box.

But reasoning from first principles is a dangerous business ....
