ndiswrapper and kernel source

Hi

I need to use the ndiswrapper for my broadcom WIFI
card
The kernel I have does not have the ndiswrapper module
compiled... So I am trying to do it right now. but I
am having some problems compiling the
ndiswrapper-source package.
I am using the kernel-image-2.6.10-9-amd64-k8.
1) I have downloaded the 2 packages
kernel-source-2.6.10 and kernel-headers-2.6.10-9
2) I have bunzip2 and untar both of them
3)I made a link /usr/src/linux to point to the
kernel-source-2.6.10
I tried to compile using /debian/rules binary-modules
it complains that it cannot find the kernel-source ..
what am I missing? How come it does not find the
kernel source?
