Hello, I am trying to mount my USB device but it is not really working! When I type mount /dev/sda1 /mount_point -t vfat I get the following error message mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device Does anyone know what is the problem? Thanks!
It's not a valid block device ;-) Are you sure it's sda1? Maybe the mass storage driver isn't loaded. Try cat /proc/bus/usb/devices Which will show you the info for the device as well as the driver that picked it up.
